PROFILIUM wishes all of its customers a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year. Its been a busy year and with COVID causing issues in our supply chain, we will be closing over the holidays to recharge the batteries. Doors close Tuesday 22 December and we re-opening early January 2021.

2020/ 2021 Holiday Shutdown

Sydney

Profilium’s main warehouse in Sydney will be closed from 12.30pm Tuesday 22 December 2020 and will open on Monday 11 January 2021.

If you are aiming for pre-Christmas delivery, your order must be submitted and paid in full no later than 5pm Friday 18 December 2020. We will use our best endeavours to dispatch orders that have been paid in full, but pending demand, we cannot guarantee a pre-Christmas dispatch.

All orders received or paid in full after 5pm 18 December will be processed for dispatch from 11 January 2021 onwards.

Melbourne

Profilium’s partner in Melbourne, Eljay Engineering, will be closing on Tuesday 22 December 2020 and will open on Monday 18 January 2021.

Stock status – sea-freight delays

We apologise that we experienced stock shortages in the back half of 2020 due to the extended delay in receiving our sea-freight shipment ex-Italy. Incredibly, despite ordering this shipment on 27 July, as of 15 December we still have not received the shipment, although the good news is that the shipment is now in Sydney and awaiting Customs and Quarantine release. We hope to receive the shipment around 18 December. In the almost 11 years that we have been importing the t-slot profiles from our partner Alusic in Italy, this is by far and away the worst delay we have experienced. It has been incredibly frustrating as it was out of our control and meant that we have been unable to offer our profiles to our customers as expected.
 
Unfortunately this delay means that our “Out of Stock” items will not be available for purchase until 2021 as our warehouse closes on 18 December 2020. A small number of staff are returning on 4 January with most staff back on 11 January. Orders will not begin to ship until 11 January.
